Biography

Luis Puigjaner founded and led, for more than 30 years, the research team on Design, Operation and Control of Chemical and Biotechnology Processes, which has grown to became the Centre for Process and Environmental Engineering (CEPIMA) in 2004.
His long dedication to RTD activities in the field of chemical and process systems engineering has been recognized by different awards, including the Long-Term Achievements Award from the CAPE Working Party of the European Federation of Chemical Engineering, for his outstanding contributions to this area.
