CEPIMA to present at MeCCE-16, Barcelona

CEPIMA will present four contributions at the 16th Mediterranean Congress of Chemical Engineering (MeCCE-16), held at Fira de Barcelona from 9 to 12 June 2026. Three of them deal with the upcycling of CO₂, the central theme of the P2CE project, and one with photo-Fenton water treatment.

Oral presentations

  • Determining pathways for the chemical upcycling of CO₂, by Lluc Aresté-Saló and Moisès Graells. doi:10.48158/mecce-16.t1-o-18
  • Comparative process simulation of alternative CO₂ upcycling routes to methanol, by Franc González Cazorla, Jordi Pujol, Oriol Martínez, Lluis Soler Turu and Moisès Graells, from Franc’s industrial PhD at GasN2. doi:10.48158/mecce-16.t2-o-17

Posters

  • Development and evaluation of porous solid matrices for CO₂ capture, separation and valorisation, by Julio E. Sosa, Henrry Ortega-Ortiz, Rui P. P. L. Ribeiro, José Paulo B. Mota, Elena Gabirondo and Moisès Graells. doi:10.48158/mecce-16.t2-p-02
  • Effect of operational complexity on the multivariate structure of photo-Fenton systems, by Leandro Conte, Luis Alberto Clementi, Agustina Violeta Schenone, Bárbara Natalí Giménez, José Luís Torres, Moisès Graells and Montserrat Pérez-Moya. doi:10.48158/mecce-16.t1-p-21
