accessibility

Accessibility declaration for the CEPIMA website.

CEPIMA (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya) is committed to making this website accessible in accordance with Royal Decree 1112/2018, which transposes Directive (EU) 2016/2102 on the accessibility of public sector websites and mobile applications.

This declaration applies to the website published at cepima.upc.edu.

Compliance status

This website is partially compliant with the WCAG 2.2 level AA standard. “Partially compliant” means that some content does not yet fully meet the standard; the shortcomings we are aware of are listed below.

Non-accessible content

  • The site is checked with automated tooling, but has not yet undergone a full manual accessibility audit. Further issues may exist that automated testing does not detect.
  • Some portrait and decorative images may not yet carry fully descriptive alternative text.
  • Documents published as PDF (for example the official teaching guides hosted on upc.edu) are produced by third parties and may not meet the standard.
  • The Altmetric and Dimensions citation badges on the publications page are provided by third parties and are outside our control.

Preparation of this declaration

This declaration was prepared on 21 September 2026, by self-assessment carried out by CEPIMA using automated testing and manual review.

It was last reviewed on 20 October 2026, after automated testing (Lighthouse) of the main pages in both the light and the dark theme.

Feedback and contact

If you find an accessibility barrier on this site, or you need content in an alternative format, please write to cepima@upc.edu. We aim to reply within 20 working days, as provided by Royal Decree 1112/2018.

Formal requests for accessible information and complaints (article 12 of Royal Decree 1112/2018) are submitted through a generic application to the UPC General Registry.

Enforcement procedure

If a request for accessible information or a complaint is rejected, if you disagree with the decision, or if the reply does not meet the requirements of article 12.5 of Royal Decree 1112/2018, you can file a claim. You can also file one if 20 working days pass without a reply.

Claims are submitted through the same generic application to the UPC General Registry, which passes them on to the UPC Accessibility Responsible Unit. See also the UPC accessibility statement.
